JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day to day operation of the company’s field installation personnel and Strategic Partners. Ensure that all personnel/subcontractors are fully equipped and trained to perform their duties and responsibilities. Provide management and leadership to accomplish the annual business plan achieving the production goals and objectives while ensuring alignment with Priddy Roofing and Exteriors’ Core Values and Vision/Mission Statements.

REPORTS TO: General Manager 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, college undergraduate degree, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding, windows, and door products and installation, including
  • General construction practices.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Acceptable DMV record.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use computers and the appropriate company software Program.
  • Speak, write, and communicate in English. Bonus if you speak Spanish as well 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and approve each sold project to ensure all needed information is included to efficiently install the project as sold
  • Develop the material list for each sold project and forward to the client Care Specialist for material ordering
  • Monitor and meet labor & material budgets for each project / report all shortages and/or discrepancies 
  • Assist and analyze all specialty/unique projects prior to project presentation to the client to ensure adequate labor & material, along with the installation plan
  • Plans & prepare today for tomorrow
  • Check the weather and job specifications to decide if the crew should work that day
  • Ensures the Project Manager is aware of any special customer conditions 
  • Manage and oversee warranty & service claims with homeowners and the Project Manager
  • Manage and oversee the Quality Control position 
  • Ensure that all production personnel are following company policy, OSHA, safety, and manufacturer standards.
  • Assist with the training and equipping of all production personnel
  • Manage the production department to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Know and ensure all standard operating procedures are properly adhered to
  • Monitor production team and individual results and recommend ways to improve to the General Manager / ELT
  • Report the performance of all production personnel to the General Manager / ELT 
  • Attend daily production huddle 
  • Attend and complete Pre-Construction Meetings per process
  • Attend and complete Call Backs per process 
  • Complete crew requirements for new Sold projects 
  • Attend company meetings and seminars as required
  • All other duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to carry and put up an extension ladder (32ft)
  • Must be able to walk on roofs and uneven surfaces at heights exceeding 10 feet
  • Ability to repetitively manipulate computer keyboard and 10 key
  • Must be able to carry up to 90lbs
