At this Grove City, PA home, the roof had started showing its age—weathered shingles, inconsistent ventilation, and a gutter system no longer working as it should. The homeowner was ready to take action and contacted us for a free inspection to better understand what needed to be done. After walking through the options, we developed a plan that would restore the roof and upgrade critical components of the home’s exterior.
The homeowner selected Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black, a bold, high-performance shingle that adds contrast and style to the home while offering advanced protection against wind and weather. To improve attic ventilation and extend the life of the new roof, we installed Dura Ridge ridge vents—a smart addition that helps regulate heat and moisture inside the structure. These upgrades were designed to meet the highest industry standards and qualify for full warranty coverage, including a limited lifetime material warranty and a 5-year labor warranty.
As part of the full project scope, the team also replaced the gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards, ensuring proper drainage across all rooflines. The new gutter system was installed with hidden hangers to maintain clean lines and provide added strength. Everything was measured and pitched to carry water safely away from the foundation and prevent future water-related issues.
Additional exterior updates included work on the garage and back doors, fascia, and screen doors, ensuring the home’s trim and functional components matched the performance and appearance of the new roofing system.
