On Lawrin Court in Chesapeake Beach, MD, this home underwent a full roof and gutter replacement to address storm damage and improve long-term protection. The old roof system was removed down to the decking, and a new system was installed using Owens Corning Duration shingles in Driftwood, paired with a clean white drip edge for a sharp finish. To promote proper ventilation and extend roof life, DuraRidge vents were added across the ridge.
Beyond the roof system, this project also included new 6″ white seamless gutters and downspouts, designed to handle heavy rainfall and prevent water from pooling near the foundation. The upgrade not only strengthens the home’s water management but also enhances curb appeal.
As part of the restoration, additional improvements were made, including replacing damaged fascia metal on the front upper “A” section and repairing a corner post on the rear elevation. All updates were color-matched to the existing siding for a seamless appearance, with Savannah wicker chosen for the replacement materials.
This project is backed by a 50-year lifetime shingle warranty and a 5-year labor warranty, ensuring peace of mind for the homeowner. With durable materials and professional installation, this Chesapeake Beach home is now equipped to withstand the elements while looking refreshed and well cared for.
