In Baltimore, MD, a homeowner on Dorchester Road was ready for a roofing system that would restore both protection and peace of mind. Our team quickly identified the need for a full roof replacement to prevent further damage and ensure the home was protected year-round.
The homeowner selected GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Pewter Grey, a popular choice known for its curb appeal and long-term durability. This high-performance architectural shingle is built to resist high winds, shed water effectively, and stay looking clean over time thanks to its built-in StainGuard protection. In addition to the shingles, we installed Snow Country ridge vents, designed to allow proper attic ventilation and help regulate temperature and moisture inside the home. This upgrade not only boosts roof performance but also helps extend the lifespan of the shingles and lowers energy costs.
As with every project, the team began by removing the existing shingles and inspecting the decking underneath. Where needed, compromised plywood was replaced to ensure a solid base for the new system. A complete roofing assembly was then installed, including white aluminum drip edge, high-performance underlayment, pipe collars, and flashing. Every component was installed in line with manufacturer specifications, qualifying the homeowner for a lifetime material warranty and 5-year labor warranty on workmanship.
Alongside the roof, the homeowner received credit for previously replaced window screens—proof that every part of the scope was handled with fairness and transparency. The project was completed smoothly, with a clean job site and minimal disruption to the homeowner’s routine.
