After years of wear and exposure to harsh seasonal conditions, the roof was showing signs of failure—curling shingles, poor ventilation, and vulnerable areas that couldn’t wait much longer. The homeowner reached out looking for a long-term solution, not just a temporary patch. Our team responded quickly with a free inspection and a plan to replace the entire roofing system with top-tier materials and expert craftsmanship.
The homeowner chose GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Birchwood, a high-performance shingle that offers both beauty and durability. Known for its industry-leading wind resistance and StainGuard protection, this shingle was the ideal match for the home’s style and the region’s changing weather. Alongside it, we installed a Cobra Snow Country ridge vent system, which allows for proper attic airflow and helps prevent heat buildup and moisture retention—two common culprits of early roof failure.
To ensure the structure beneath the new roof was solid and up to standard, our crew installed all new 7/16″ OSB roof decking. This gave the new roofing system a clean, stable base that meets current building codes and ensures long-term performance. In addition, we added extra ice and water shield protection on the rear slope—an area where water and ice tend to collect more heavily during winter months. These upgrades were done with precision and according to manufacturer guidelines to ensure full eligibility for GAF’s Golden Pledge Warranty, one of the most comprehensive warranties available in the industry.
Throughout the process, the team kept the site clean and the homeowner informed, providing daily progress updates and addressing every question along the way.
