At this home in Prince Frederick, MD, the homeowner knew their existing roof had reached its limit. Visible wear, missing fascia, and aged downspouts were clear signs it was time to restore the roof to full functionality and protection. They reached out for a free inspection, hoping for a solution that would not only repair the damage but improve the overall integrity of the home.
After a full assessment, the decision was made to move forward with a complete roof replacement. The homeowner selected GAF Timberline HDZ architectural shingles in Biscayne Blue, a standout color with deep coastal tones that adds dimension and fresh curb appeal. These shingles are known for their high wind resistance and advanced protection against staining, making them a smart choice for the Maryland climate.
The full roofing system included tear-off of existing shingles, decking inspection, and proper installation of underlayment and flashing. A white drip edge was installed around the perimeter for both function and a clean, finished look. To support airflow and ventilation within the attic, matching Snow Country ridge vents were installed across the ridgelines. The result is a system designed for both performance and longevity—backed by a 50-year lifetime material warranty and 5-year labor warranty.
In addition to the new roof, the project included minor exterior restoration work such as replacing missing fascia on the right elevation and installing 20 feet of new downspout on the right side of the home. These finishing touches ensure the entire system works together to move water efficiently and protect the property from further moisture issues.
From tear-off to final clean-up, the crew completed the job with care, leaving the homeowner with a roof that doesn’t just look new—it performs like new, too.
