The homeowner wanted to get ahead of potential leaks and weather damage before the next storm rolled through. They reached out for a free inspection, and after a close evaluation, a complete roof replacement was the clear next step.
The roofing team removed all existing shingles and underlayment and inspected the underlying decking to make sure the structure was solid and ready for a new system. Where needed, any damaged wood was replaced to ensure the new roofing system had a strong foundation.
The homeowner selected Owens Corning Duration shingles in Williamsburg Grey, a classic and clean look with long-lasting performance. These architectural shingles are designed to stand up to wind, rain, and years of seasonal shifts. To improve airflow and support roof longevity, Dura Ridge ventilation was installed along the ridgelines—helping regulate attic temperature and moisture.
The build was finished off with a white drip edge for a sharp visual finish and added water protection along the edges. Everything was installed in line with Owens Corning’s standards to ensure the roof would be eligible for the lifetime material warranty. Additionally, the workmanship is covered by a 5-year labor warranty, giving the homeowner peace of mind well beyond the install.
